I think it's important for people to get compliments. Reminders of how amazing they are to others.

And it's important for you to know just how handsome you are. I particularly like just how intense your expression is. You get a look in your eyes when you're deep in thought and when you smile. Completely different but also the same.

And I always appreciate said handsome gentleman with rolled-up sleeves.

I would be lying if I said I wouldn't graciously accept the attention but why not share the wealth and well of appreciation?

If one happened to stumble, I'd try and catch them on the way down. I can't promise to completely break their fall, but they'd have a pair of warm arms to settle against.

The unexpected is the best type of menace if pop culture history has taught me anything.

That's very likely, though if it did make you upset or uncomfortable, I would respectfully step back. Complimenting and building others up is important but not at the cost of someone's feelings.

You aren't bowling me over - you're being kind, in a way not many are in the city. [It's not intended as a dig on the LIERs of Duplicity. Elle's unique. He truly hasn't met anyone else as determined to uplift the people around them as she is.

He's willing to entertain that, while unfamiliar in this respect, it's something that could be good for him, coming from her.]

Kindness can be lacking in a lot of ways around here. Someone has to make up for it. ;)

I could always send you a reminder for when your compliment may be approaching so you're not caught completely off guard.
